Victoria Silvia for DRRSC - THANK YOU REHOBOTH!

Our Community, Our Children, Our Future

I never envisioned myself starting a campaign to represent the Town of Rehoboth on the Dighton-Rehoboth Regional School Committee, but my passion for quality education and seeing my community thrive has led me here. I believe that with my background in finance, my penchant for learning, and my willingness to listen and question, I can make a positive impact. I grew up in town, and many of my loved ones have chosen to make Rehoboth their home. I am highly invested in seeing not only the schools, but the town as a whole flourish. I will represent the best interests of the residents of Rehoboth to the absolute best of my ability, and I will always do so with integrity.

Strategic Goals

Get our children back to being children – engaged with each other in person, not behind a screen.

  •

Eliminate wasteful spending and look for savings via efficiencies and improvements so the resources we have can be utilized to their fullest capacity.

  •

Invest in our children’s education and enrichment. I am a proud DR graduate, I want my kids to be proud as well. This needs to be done responsibly, by continuously analyzing where funds go and making sure they are used in the most effective ways possible.

  •

Create meaningful discussion by encouraging a diversity of ideas and ensuring that the School Committee is not a rubber-stamp process.

  •

Everyone deserves to have their thoughts heard, not just the most vocal. How can all stakeholders be reached to make sure multiple facets of concern are being addressed? Fostering inclusion will allow us to get to the best overall answer.

  •

Increase transparency and clarity in the budget process so more taxpayers can understand.

  •

Ensure that publicly available information is easily accessible by the public.

Why Your Vote Counts

In the 2020 Rehoboth town election, 1,396 people voted. There are now over 10,000 active voters in Rehoboth! That means less than 14% of current Rehoboth voters had a say in Rehoboth's elected officials last year. Get out and make your voice heard!!
